In early 2023, our company was awarded a strategic contract by a major municipal infrastructure partner in Algiers, Algeria, for the supply and delivery of integrated solar street lighting systems. The project supports Algeria’s national initiative to promote renewable energy and sustainable urban development, with an emphasis on reducing grid dependency and lowering carbon emissions in public lighting.
The collaboration began with a comprehensive technical consultation phase. Our team proposed customized lighting layouts based on local solar irradiance data. Our all-in-one solar street light—featuring high-efficiency monocrystalline panels, LiFePO₄ batteries, and smart dusk-to-dawn controls—was selected after successful field trials and compliance verification (CE, RoHS, IEC 62109, and IEC 62133).
A formal supply agreement was signed in March 2023, specifying the delivery of 1,800 integrated solar street lights within a tight six-month project timeline. Given the accelerated schedule, we activated a fast-track production plan at our Changzhou manufacturing facility. Production commenced immediately, with dedicated assembly lines, rigorous quality inspections, and 72-hour continuous aging tests to ensure reliability under North Africa’s high-temperature and dusty conditions.
To meet the aggressive deadline, logistics were optimized through a combination of air and sea freight. The first batch of 600 units was air-shipped in April 2023 for urgent pilot installation, while the remaining units followed via container shipping in May and June. All shipments were delivered DAP (Delivered at Place) to designated sites across Greater Algiers, accompanied by bilingual installation guides and remote technical support.
Post-Delivery Support: Our after-sales team provided training to local maintenance crews and implemented a digital monitoring system for performance tracking.
Strategic Impact: This project strengthens our presence in the growing African solar lighting market and underscores our ability to execute time-sensitive renewable energy projects.
