In early 2024, our company successfully secured a significant LED tunnel lighting project from Client A, a leading infrastructure contractor in Poland. This initiative is part of a national highway modernization program.
Project Overview: Infrastructure Modernization in Poland
The project involves the full supply of high-performance LED tunnel luminaires for a newly constructed dual-tube tunnel spanning over 3.2 kilometers. The engagement began with an intensive technical and commercial negotiation phase, during which our team provided customized photometric simulations, energy-efficiency analyses, and compliance documentation.
Technical Compliance & Standards
All solutions are strictly aligned with EU directives, including CE, RoHS, ERP, and EN 62722 standards. After several rounds of discussions and sample testing, a formal supply contract was signed in March 2024, ensuring detailed specifications and rigorous warranty terms.
Given the project’s 18-month construction timeline, the contract was structured into three phased deliveries to match the civil engineering progress. Our production planning commenced immediately upon contract signing, leveraging our dedicated R&D and manufacturing facility in Changzhou, China.
Equipped with SMT lines, aging test chambers, and a CIE-compliant photometric darkroom, we initiated batch production in Q2 2024. Each luminaire underwent rigorous quality control, including IP66/IP67 waterproof testing, thermal management validation, and 1,000-hour accelerated aging tests to guarantee long-term reliability.
Phase 1
1,200 units dispatched via sea freight in August 2024.
Phase 2 & 3
Subsequent batches delivered in Q1 and Q3 of 2025.
All goods were delivered DAP (Delivered at Place) to the tunnel site near Kraków, accompanied by bilingual technical manuals and on-site installation guidance via remote support. Post-delivery, our after-sales team remains engaged to ensure smooth commissioning and provide a 5-year performance warranty.
